Good Clinical Practice (GCP) represents the global gold standard for ethical and scientific quality requirements in clinical research. It governs every aspect of clinical trial activities, including design, conduct, performance, monitoring, auditing, recording, analysis, and reporting. The guidelines of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the recommendations of the National Medical Commission (NMC), New Delhi, mandate that all professionals engaged in clinical trials or new drug development research must undergo foundational training in clinical research, commonly referred to as GCP training. Moreover, it is now mandatory for all postgraduate medical students to complete GCP training prior to appearing for their final examination, making this workshop an essential component of their academic preparation.

We are pleased to announce the 4th National Workshop on Good Clinical Practice (GCP) 2025, an initiative hosted by the National Association of Pharmacology and Therapeutics in collaboration with the Department of Pharmacology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Nagpur. The primary mode of this workshop will be online, scheduled for March 2025, offering participants the convenience of learning from any location.In addition, institutions with appropriate facilities may also organize offline workshops to provide hands-on training and interactions.
